Consolidation and Expansion of the Limpopo Early Warning Flood Forecast System (EWFFS)

The consolidation and Expansion of the Limpopo Early Warning Flood Forecast System (EWFFS) is being implemented with support of Climate Resilient Infrastructure Development Facility (CRIDF).

It aims to improve the existing early warning system and expand for the entire basin; identify a free modelling software for Rainfall-Runoff modelling using forecast rainfall data to be applied in the basin.

The project also includes the identification of options for institutionalization of the Limpopo EWFFS and sustainability.
